kprinter crash :-( mdk 9.1+CUPS+hp720

when I want to print from any of the KDE applications kprinter crashes a moment after it displays itself. when I start it from a konsole, I get:

Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
kdecore (KSocket): ERROR: KExtendedSocket::connectionEvent() called but no data available!

GLX missing is due to uninstalled nvidia drivers, but I think it's not important (maybe I'm wrong)

I use Mandrake 9.1 and CUPS with all current updates installed.
Printer is HP 720C.

Printing with lpr works just fine.

Please help!
best regards

This is a bug in KExtendedSocket I think.

It should be fixed, see if you can find updated KDE packages for your distribution.
