SAX2 resolution 1024*768@60Hz, but KDE offers only 8xx*6yy@?
Having not found any thread addressing my problem:
With sax2 I successfully configured my NVidia G2 MX400 card and my Philips 151AX TFT-monitor. There I get told, that the resolution is 1024*768@60 Hz, which is fine.
But within the graphical system (KDE3.2) the resolution is down to something like 832*624@75Hz.
I have reconfigured the hardware in sax2 and also had to reinstall Suse-Linux 9.1 (for a different reason).
What bothers me most is, that with Knoppix 3.4 (from CD) KDE sets the resolution to the required 1024*768 without any fuss.
What do I need to do to tell KDE with the Suse-Linux to run the resolution at 1024*768@60Hz?
/etc/X11/XF86Config looks fine to me. (can't post it here at the moment as I'm online from a Win32-system)

When you get a chance, copy XFree86Config to http://nopaste.php.cd and give us the link so we can have a look at it.
ok, done.
