Noatun UI dissapearance

After a system crash caused by Windows locking up inside VMmware my Noatun no longer works properly. When I start the program, it shows "Starting Noatun" in the taskbar, but when that dissapears the programs user interface doesn't come up, but the proccess table shows Noatun is running. If I reboot them machine at this point when KDE starts Noatun will be running in the process table and playing the playlist it was playing at the time of the crash, but no apparent way to bring back the GUI.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
