Please a little help here
While trying to figure out while I can't listen to any audio, I checked the box "enable full duplex mode", in the Control-Center -> Sound & Multimedia -> Sound-System -> Sound I/O window (it was a move out of frustration).
After clicking "Apply", the computer froze. No Ctrl-Alt-Del, Ctrl-Alt-Backspc or Ctrl-Alt-F1 combination worked. I had to switch off the computer
The computer boots fine up to the login screen. If I login, then the computer freezes. Also, if I login with a different username than the one I used when I checked the "enable full duplex mode" box, then everything goes well.
How can erase this preference from without actually having to log in ? Or maybe is there a way to log in without KDE loading the sound modules ?
I'm running RedHat9, KDE 3.1
