KDE URL Restrictions for a specific application

Hi,

I am trying to limit kmail's file open dialog (for file attachments) to one directory only (thus forcing users to have a second look at every file they send outside, as they have to manually copy them there first), while still maintaining another, not so tight, set of restrictions for the rest of KDE.

Through experimenting, I have found out that by putting no KDE URL-Restrictions section into kdeglobals and one into kmailrc, I can have a set of rules that only apply to kmail. If, though, I define one set of rules in kdeglobals and another one in kmailrc, the latter appears to simply be ignored by KDE (while the first applies to all of KDE, including kmail, obviously.)

Is there a solution to this?

Guido

Hmm, could be a bug.
I suggest you look at bugs.kde.org if someone else has filed a bug report against KMail for this and if not, file one yourself.

If it is possible to specify such a restriction for a single application, it should overrule the global one IMHO, or perhaps take effect if it is more restrictive.
