Looking for a kdebase-nspluginscan for KDE 3.2.0

I did an upgrade from KDE 3.1.3 (on Mandrake 9.2) to KDE 3.2.0 but now the executable nspluginscan is missing which Konqueror needs to find plugins.

Any attempt to fetch it for 3.1.3 suggest to replace the entire KDE installation.

How do I get kdebase-nspluginscan for KDE 3.2.0?

Solved - with report

Well, got this fixed by removing KDE entirely and via http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ connect the package system to cooker for the community version, probably the latest Mandrake.

By not using Drakconf but a shell and executing urpmi kdebase-common I got a very basic kde 3.2 installation (branch (04Feb2004) and later added new KDE parts the same way up to the point where dependencies would break.

It took a few more twists and turns to get Kmail 1.6.1 on (kdepim parts) but nothing difficult out of the ordinary for Linux.

Finally the file holding the plugin-scanner accepted installing and Konqueror (3.2.0) worked nicely again containing the selected plugins in its list. Hope they actually work :-)

By the way, I started off by installing the XFree 4.3 before anything else. It had bugged me earlier when upgrading some stuff .As that worked I was already pretty happy knowing I could work through IceWM.

I've already got kernel 2.6 something on, but when Mandrake 10.1 is released on cd, I'll have it replacing my Mandrake 9.2

Hope I got it right and used the correct forum without a legal eagle to assist ;-)
