No KDE Startmenu after compilation
i compiled KDE2.3.1 under RedHat 9 with konstruct sucessfully. I set the Path as it is written in the README file. When iI start KDE it comes up but the panel has no K-Button, no buttons at all and no startmenu. So I can not do anything.
What faild? I could not found compilation errors.
cheers
rene
Did the "Desktop Settings Wizard " show upon first KDE boot?
yes, it did. Eyerthink seems normal while loading KDE3.2.1 the first time. After that a default desktop came up but the whole panel was empty. I copied the compiled KDE to /usr/kde3.2.1 and set all path' to that directory (how its described in the README of konstruct).
