GLib 2.0 not detected

I am using KDE 3.2, and compiling KDE 3.2.1. Of course I use GLib 2.0 in the 2.0 version.

The configure script of arts not detect my glib version, and all of my system iwas compiled with stable source code.

I have similar problem when compiling KDE 3.2, and in these case the problem was pkgconfig are a incorrect version (strange, but yes). I tried the method again, but now not run.

The method was:
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/lib/pkgconfig

I was tried this compiling arts in 3.2.1, but now not run.

GLib 2.0 and the pkgconfig version for GLib 2.0 are installed.
