ispell
When trying to run spellchecking in KMail, I get an error message that tells me that Ispell and Aspell cannot be started and that I should check if they are properly installed. I have verified that there is a file called "ispell" in
/usr/local/kde3.2.1/share/aspell
However, I cannot work out how to tell KDE where it is? Suggestions are wellcome.
I encountered this too. When I installed KDE using Konstruct, I built meta/everything. One of the things Konstruct did was to install a newer version of aspell on my system, however it did not install any dictionaries, and the names of the dictionary files had changed with the newer aspell. Solution, install the latest dictionarys. go
http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/
Thanks for the tip it has worked for me too!
