CD Player won't recognize pictures

Hello, I have a Pentium 1 with KDE (the version before September 2002)
I have pictures on CD's and when I put a CD (with pictures made on Windows) in the CD Player, it thinks it is an audio CD and I only see the CD Player, not the files of images.
Can someone please help me.
I have very basic computer skills, so I would appreciate if you keep it simple!!
