First, is there any way set defaults without resorting to forcing a certain profile?

Second, is there any way to set a default profile? I added --profile MyDefault to the command line on the konsole button, but I don't see any way to add that to a terminals button if I add that to kicker, and I've got so many machines I log into on a daily basis that I'd really like to be able to use that.

hmm, very strange.
Perhaps removing konsolerc and so starting with an untouched konsole works.
A friend of mime has similar problems.
It worked after he deleted apps/konsole in his KDEHOME dir
Cheers,
