Ark crashes on exit.

I recently upgraded to kde 3.1.1with redhat 8.0 As a result, every time I exit ark after looking at an archive, it crashes with a signal 11. Works fine up to the point I actually exit the program. I understand this is distributed under the kde-utils package. Is there anything I should try to resolve this problem?

kde 3.1.2 is now available on the servers, so perhaps upgrading removes the bug..
You don't have to upgrade all of kde, kdeutils is enough.
