Problems with Java when upgrading to KDE 3.1 using Konstruct

When I`m upgrading I get this:

checking for Java... configure: error: Incorrect version of /usr/include//jni.h.
You need to have Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.2.

Use --with-java to specify another location.
Use --without-java to configure without java support.
Or download a newer JDK and try again.
See e.g. http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.2

I have installed Java SDK 1.2.2 but it still doesn`t work. I also tried Java 1.4 SDK... How to get it going?
I have a Debian, architecture i386.
Best regards.

You installed the Java SDK, but the package requieres Java JDK.
JDK is probably the development kit (wich includes the java headers, just like you need kdelibs-devel for the kdelibs-headers to compile anything for kde) of java.
