MDK 9.1 and KDE Icons

Hello,

I'm running MDK 9.1 w/KDE 3.1. I use both GNOME and KDE from time to time, however I've been primarily in KDE (I think they both are very well constructed desktops). Anyways, well I wanted to change the icons in KDE and I noticed that all the same theme icons that are in GNOME happen to be in KDE however none of them work. I figured that they shouldn't considering KDE uses different icons (from what I understand) and they are even placed in a different place. KDE is usually /usr/share/icons whereas GNOME is /usr/share/pixmaps. Well anyways, what I was wondering if there anyway to remove them out of the control panel without removing the actual files in /usr/share/icons? Or will it just have to read it as it is and I'll just have to deal with it.

Secondly, I installed a theme (which I thought it was) however it only appears to change Qt. Well anyways, I would like to remove it however in the control panel there is no "remove theme". I was wondering where the thing is saved so that I could easily go in there and remove it. I looked around in ~/.kde for a bit, however I didn't see anything, I probably just missed it.
