unremovable icon in the tray

hi,

my system is gentoo amd6, kde 4.3.4 with compiz and emerald.

sometimes, when i open a window, two icons will appear in the tray. when i close the window, only one of the icons is removed, leaving one unable to be removed.

this does not happen often, and it do not relate to any specific application. i do not know what is the cause.
