I'm fighting this vague sense that something is terribly wrong with the world, buildings falling over, people strangely hovering sideways in mid-air, trees growing straight out of the side of apparent cliffsides. Either the KDE desktop environment isn't doing rotations, or the universe is fundamentally out of whack.
Is it possible to set the Slideshow feature of desktop-settings to handle EXIF rotation for photos? I'm finding it increasingly frustrating for photos to display as my desktop background in the wrong orientation, and am hoping this feature is already present. If it isn't, I'd like to toss in a vote for this, perhaps as a checkbox below Positioning.
The screensaver module in XBMC, for example, handles this quite nicely. Hasving this in KDE would go a long way towards that "polished" feeling.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any thoughts? Or should I get to work revising my understanding of fundamental physics?
