Support embedded images in Kmail signatures

I feel image support is sorely missing from Kmail HTML signature (upto 4.3 SVN 20th April 2009). What is surprising is that when composing a message, one can embed an image in the message. Why has this feature been omitted from signature? :S
Otherwise, the Kmail is leaps and bounds ahead of both Evolution and Thunderbird.

Hence, I propose to add image support to Kmail signature. :)
How come I can never come up with something original as my signature?
