Mouse cursor visible option in ksnapshot?

Being a relative newbie to Ubuntu coming from a windows oriented environment I was looking for a tool that could replace the functionality I used from Gadwin printscreen under windows.

I use ksnapshot for that purpose now with xbindkeys to use the printscreen button for different types of printscreen (window, selected area or full screen) to my satisfaction.
But I mis one option to include the mouse cursor in the taken printscreen.

Do I (and others on other forums) see it right that there is no option in ksnapshot (and other screenprint tools) to include the mouse cursor in the screen shot taken?

I would very much like this option to make screenshots for example for (dummy) tutorial purposes.
Is it a considered option by the developing team?
I am aware of the work around by adding a picture of the mouse to the screenprint with some picture additing software like GIMP as others suggested as well. But it is a time consuming work around compared to having an option to have the mouse cursor included in the screenprint.
