Impressions of kde 4.2

I have been running kde 4.2 since release (an before 4.1). It is a fantastic approach to window manager. I'm going to comment in a couple of things that I do not like because affect my productive and the way I can interact (BTW this are just very minor problems)

1. I use compiz with kde 4.2. I wish the would be a way to have the widget in one size of the cube vs in all. For example using Emerald windows decoration I can have an application in on side or in all of them.
For example some widget are nice to have it in all side like a clock or a menu launcher. Others like a dictionary or a hardware monitor I may wanted in only one side. If this effect is not implemented it will reduce the use of plasmoids otherwise they will pollute each view. Using activities you can do it but then I have to go to a 2D desktop and of course that will not happen.

2. The plasmoids offer the possibility of eliminating the pannel. For example using a menu launcher, system tray, task manager and a device notifier plasmoids I get everything I need and more. The problem I encounter was the following: I love the new menu that I saw for the first time in suse-novell distro now is call the kickoff menu style. If I delete the pannel and I install the <applicaion launcher>, the kickoff menu loads but open. There is no way to reduce it to the icon. If I load the <appliation launcher menu> plasmoid the gecko or the kde icon shows, if I click it, the old classic menu comes, if I close it and R mouse and I select the kickoff menu the same problem arise. Yes I can use the classic menu, or lancelot but why this behaviour with the kickoff menu. Of course when is on the pannel it works as it should.

3. I whish transparency would work on the pannel, but this is just part of a wish list.

I do not have word to thanks the kde devs, they have done a terrific job introducing innovations that other OS's will try to copy. Thanks much!!!
