Cant Restore Single Screen

Hello everybody,
Ive got a little problem well little its starts to get annoying.
I succeeded in configurating my laptop dualscreen with a CRT screen.
But as laptops are suppose to be mobile, mine isnt anymore because i can not restore it back to single screen.
If i try so (which i did many times) my desktop gets completly screwed over, icons disapper,
he sometimes seems to manage to get multiple wallpapers on the same desktop(which i can change individully) and so on.
Ive got an Acer Aspire 3000 laptop with OpenSuSE 11.0 on it.

I hope you can help me :)

Do you need a copy of my xconf file?
