Shortcuts KDE4

Hi,

does anybody know how to make the shortcuts work? I can configure them (i.e. Meta+O fpr Opera) but they do not work.
Even Alt+F1 for K-Menu does not work.

Any hints?

Using sidux erebos + KDE 4.1.2
