Kopete 3.5.x starting Kmail on KDE 4.1

Hello.

I'm using KDE 4.1 on FreeBSD-6.3. I'm still using some KDE 3.5.x apps as the new versions of these don't work properly. One of these is Kopete. The problem is that every time I start Kopete, it also starts KMail (3.5.x), which I don't use anymore. I've deleted .kde/share/apps/kmail and .kde/share/config/kmail*, but it doesn't matter.

Anybody has any clues where does this come from? :?:
