does not show window when alt f2 is pressed

does not show window when alt f2 is pressed

When I press alt + f2 the window to execute commands does not show, but, kde 4.1 acts like it's there, because the window behind gets darker --i have desktop effects active-- and it appears in the taskbar; even I can type a command and execute it without see the window.
