KDE 4 and Gnome autostart programs conflict

I've been google'ing to find a solution to this problem, but I didn't find a solution or a workaround. I couldn't find this exact problem in this forum either, but sorry if it's already mentioned in here.

I have both GNOME and KDE 4.1.1 installed. If I add programs to "sessions" in Gnome, they will also launch on startup in KDE 4. If I go to "System settings/advanced/autostart" in KDE 4, then I can disable or remove the autostart entries, but un-selecting them in KDE removes them in GNOME's sessions as well (and then they don't autostart in Gnome). In KDE 4's autostart settings there's an advanced option to select "only start in KDE", but not an option to select "only start in Gnome".

I've also tried adding the programs to the "skiplist" under "system settings/advanced/sessions, but programs from sessions in Gnome still autostart in KDE 4.

Example: I use fusion-icon and avant-window-navigator in Gnome. I want them to autostart in Gnome, but I do NOT want them to autostart in KDE 4.

Is this the intended behavior? As I recall it wasn't like that in KDE3. How to solve this mess? :)

No input on this?

I also found that if I change the default file manager in KDE 4.1.1 to Konqueror (inode) then it changes the default file manager in Gnome to Konqueror as well.
