Where to add horizontal & vertical refresh settings with KDE3.5?

I've just built a new kubuntu system (Hardy Heron 8.04) connected to a HP Pavilion F1903 19" TFT (analogue inputs) monitor. This monitor isn't available in the manufacturers list.

I've checked /etc/X11/xorg.conf and can't see where i can define the horizontal & vertical refresh settings. Is there a way of entering the refresh settings manually via the KDE System Settings or a config file?
