"Group similar tasks" missing from Panel in KDE 4.0.4

In KDE 4.0.4 (in OpenSUSE 11), can't group similar tasks (xmemo, notifiers, acroread invocations, emacs, etc.). Consequently my panel is now completely useless. Please re-add this very useful functionality!!! Thanks.

This feature is still missing from KDE 4.1.0 (I'm using Fedora 9, and have the updates-testing builds).

I REALLY miss this feature from KDE 3.5. PLEASE bring it back! :!: :!: :!:
