KDE 4.1 Fedora 9 kwallet not called by NetworkManager

Hello Everyone,

I have compiled KDE 4.1 from tarballs on Fedora 9. kdepimlib and kdeutils as well as other base tarballs seem to be installed correctly and without missing dependencies. My only issue is in using a wireless connection: NetworkManager does not call kwallet to offer to store the WEP encryption passphrase. There were no wallets initially using kwalletmanager. I created a wallet called "network" and made it the default wallet. Konqueror does recognize the network wallet and offers to store password/form information in the network wallet.

The Fedora installed KDE4.0.5 has a wallet named "kdewallet" and I tried that as a default wallet name without success. I tried creating a new user under KDE 4.1 but still no interaction between NetworkManager and kwallet. I had the Fedora 9 NetworkManager installed and then tried the Fedora 10 rpm all with no change.

I'm not too skilled with gdb, but willing to try almost anything someone suggests.
