KDE Help Centre fails to load

KDE version 3.5.7 on OpenSUSE.10.3

When I am connected to the internet KDE Help Centre fails to load ie nothing happens when selected from the menu. It also fails to load after I disconnect. However it loads fine before I go on the internet (dial-up). Can anyone give me some hints as to what might be going on. Thanks.
