Do you like file managers to have ftp and sftp?
I for one think this is very important as I use the ftp that is built into konqueror every day so to loose that when upgrading to kde4 would be a very bad thing.
Yes I could use gftp or filezilla or some thing like those but I like the ability to view images right on the ftp.
How about an "I dont really mind either way" button?. I tend to use an FTP app to do all that anyway. They are generally more versatile.
wow 9 votes and all for yes so this should be good positive feed back for the KDE team.
This type of poll is exactly what they need to make kde 4 great.
FTP works under KDE4.1, even with Dolphin, or any other ioslaves-capable app.
It is possible to use specialized application for each protocol but having it integrated into file manager is much convenient. Besides FTP and SFTP there should be support for SMB, WebDAV and maybe others (some may be available as plugins).
