Make taskbar display all windows on virtual desktop

I'm new to KDE (3.5 if it matters) and I'm trying to get it configured in a way that's useful but I've run into a big sticking point. I have two monitors, and it seems that I can either make the taskbar only display windows from the current monitor -- and not those from the other one, or else every window open on every virtual desktop. Is there no way to make it display every window on the current virtual desktop without displaying every window on every desktop?
