KWin4 / KNotify4 / EeePC / openSUSE 10.3

Hi

I am having a serious error with KDE4 - whenever i login i can't type.

When I i logout it says that kwin4 has crashed with a sigterm error.

It started yesterday. I have tried to upgrade to openSUSE 11 after it failed but i can't find my pen drive.

Is it worth uninstalling kwin4 and knotify4 and trying to reinstall them both?
