Size of 'Quick Launch' buttons
Hi everyone, I recently installed KDE on my laptop. I'm used to having a bigger screen and a large taskbar that can accommodate lots of programs at once. One problem with the large taskbar, however, is that the 'quick launch' (to borrow the windows equivalents term) button s to the right of the K menu grow proportionately rather than staying small and taking up multiple rows (or hiding behind a little arrow like they do in Windows.) The result is that the quick launch buttons take up nearly a third of my task bar, when they really don't need to be that huge. I've looked around the forums and can't find any posts about this. How can I make these buttons smaller and take up multiple rows so they occupy less space?
Hi billava,
You can't.
All you can do is file a bugreport (with severity 'wishlist') and hope one of the kicker developers will find this feature as useful as you do.
