Proxy in KDE4 ?

Hi everybody, I'm using Kubuntu-kde4 and I need to use KGet to download some files from Internet, but I need to configure a proxy, under kde 3.5 I just set the proxy vars in konqueror, but in kde4 doesn't work. Konqueror and all the system ignore the proxy vars.
I have read in the mailing list that proxy support in kde4 is broken. Is that true ?
