Switch to KDE4 From Gnome and Gnome Panel

Hi All,

I installed KDE4.0.3 on an original Gnome2.20/Opensuse10.3x_64 installation and now when I start a KDE4 session (I set session at login screen), the original Gnome Panel still opens in my KDE4 workspace

I already have set the session to KDE4 at the loginscreen and also changed the display manager to kdm from gdm via the sysconfig editior

How can this be corrected????? How do I get rid of gnome panel in my kde session
