Menu kicker gone!

Hello friends. Love KDE. I really am not sure if this is the correct thread. This is my first post: For whatever reason, my main KDE menu has disappeared from my panel. All applets are still there, but the KDE (SuSE) menu is gone. I'm running openSuSE 10.3.

This must have been a borked update.

I really have searched Heaven AND Hell; Hell offers stupid advice; and Heaven is quietly waiting....

Seriously, please help!

I don't know the cause of your problem, but haven't you tried re-adding the applet to the panel? Right-click an open area of the panel, and select "Add Applet To Panel...". On my system (Kubuntu 7.10), the applet is "K Menu". Assuming the panel is not locked (it's in the context menu), right-click the newly created menu applet, click Move, and slide it over to the left.
