Kylix in the sense of Delphi, right? (IIRC Kylix is an IDE which can also do C++).
Unfortunaly I have no experience with Delphi, let alone under Linux.
I wish to be able to program the API to customise certain things I'd like at runtime.
eg I would like to be able to build a kiosk type app and turn off certain KDE functions eg No access to KDE Desktop or shortcut keys etc.
KDE's Kiosk features are mostly based on configuration values and/Or markup.
You might not have to use any API at all, just modifying relevant config files might be enough.
You could check the sysadmin page on KDE's website for more information about Kiosk
http://www.kde.org/areas/sysadmin/
My intention is to port an existing app to Linux using KDE.
Cool
It a pity Borland has more or less abandomed Delphi for Linux, I hear it is very polupar on Windows.
Cheers,
