[KOPETE] Problem with events

Hi you all...

The thing with kopete is that... it doesn't make anything neither when I have a chat window opened and the focus is on other one and the user sends a message, nor when a user connects...

I have Gentoo 2007.0, with 2.6.23 kernel, and KDE 3.5.9...
I've tried Kopete 3.5.8, and 3.5.9 and its the same...

Any ideas?
