Task Manager Widget

Been trying to get a good working setup in KDE4... I've stumbled upon a strange thing: when I add a task manager widget and resize it to a size I like it to be, everything seems fine as it is... till I re-login.

On every login the taskmanager is getting resized to a very small square (even smaller than a regular icon). Even when I remove the other task manager, or remove the panel entirely...

I'm running openSuSE 10.3 x86_64, KDE4.0.1 (r 12.3 / stable KDE4 branch).

Anyone any ideas how to fix it?
