KDE4 terminates abruptly

Hi!

I am trying to use KDE4 for the last few days, but I have found a problem...

I have a laptop Packard Bell BU 45. This laptop has a graphics driver Intel 945GM

If use KDE4 with the windows effects on, when KnetworkManager starts to connect to my wireless connection, KDE suddenly terminates and im on command prompt...

If I disable the fancy windows effects, kde4 works like a charm.


KDE 3.5 works like a charm even with compiz. The same thing only happens in 3.5 when i click the compiz icontray icon to setup compiz... it terminates abruptly. When I installed compiz, everything went ok, I even got to manage it quite well and configure it without a problem

My 2 cents goes to a compiz/kde related issue or a graphics card driver issue.
