Login manager is disabled
Hi there,
I have installed KDE4 beside my kde3, I have also installed kdmtheme which appeares in system settings in KDE3 but in kde4 system settings whenever I enter login manager, every thing is disabled and I can change no thing!
I thought if the problem is kdm as default session manager and installed kdm-kde4 and set it as default session manager. but nothing changed except that I was unable to change theme for kdm-kde4 either! so I reverted back to kdm, which I'm at least able to configure in KDE3.
please some one tell me the problem.
I happen to know that the theme manager in Kubuntu Gutsy might as well not be there 'cos it all is capable of is ruining your kdmrc file. You on Gutsy? If so, uninstall the theme manager.

You mean to remove kdmtheme?

There is plenty of advice in the kubuntu forum. Also, for more customisation options you might want to look
