[KOPETE] - KDE is falling down when new message

[KOPETE] - KDE is falling down when new message

Hi there,

I have openSuse 10.3 KDE3.5.8 31.1 and Kopete 0.12.7, Xorg 7.3

The problem appears when new message is coming and tray icon is rotating. I click there to open it and complete KDE is falling down (the same like ctrl alt backspace). And I am not able to solve it why. I f I open the dialog window or main window and take the message from contacts directly, there is no problem.

I updated from 3.5.7 to 3.5.8 also Xorg from 7.2 to 7.3 due to another problem but if I tried to return all back, it didnt work too :( Please, help me!

with the new kernel 2,6,24 and the new graphics drivers you will have this problem much less almost no any more, and if it crash, it will crash only the kopete and not the hole KDE enviroment

i had the same probleme
