[kopete] slow file transfer

Hi everyone,

I'm using PCLOS 2007 with Kopete 0.12.7 atm. Also, I'm new to Linux. :P

My problem:

The title says it all. I have no idea why that is. In addition, transferring files with my Yahoo contacts seems to be a bit speedier than with my MSN ones - the latter is extremely slow, even on my home LAN.

I can confirm my Internet connection is ok.

In Windows, everything is fine.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
