Folder .Trash

Hello, I am using KDE 3.5.7 72.2 and openSuse 10.3. Please, can you tell me where is right location of Folder .Thrash? I have it in /home/<user>/locale/share/.Trash

But one of the new soft (Fotox) expects it in /home/<user>/.Trash - this one is Gnome and also the sw owner said me that in Saybayon it is in /home/<user>/.Trash.

For me is very strengh that different linux distribution has different location and also I'd suppose the same location like Gnome.

Thank you for your information.

Martin

Why not trying to make a symlink to your trash folder in the GNOME location of it?

Source code

1
ln -s ~/locale/share/,Trash ~/

Of course make sure the paths are right.
You can also simply try Ctrl+Shift+dragging (or dragging and picking "Link Here") the folder from the original location to it's new location.
