History scrollback in konsole is good thing, but often I need to clear it (like in just created console - nothing except console prompt). One of the reasons for it is to run some command and be sure that I see only it's output. Escpecially when previously I ran many commands with many lines of output - more than can hold screen. In this case it is very hard to quickly find out where next to last output ends and where last output starts.
As clearing of history can be needed often I don't like to use menu command edit > clear history (it's veeery slow
) or some keyboard shortcut for it (a bit faster but still slow). Ideal solution would be something like "ch" (clear history) that should be typed directly to console and produce same result as menu item "clear history".
Currently I haven't found something like this. Maybe somebody knows this command or have an idea how to do this with some set of commands (to place them into script).
Thanks beforehand.
