Help ! (KDE 3.5.7 and hald )

Hi

At least at me hald doesn't work properly ( it automounts when i don't want some partitions ).
That's the reason why i haven't enabled hald daemon.

The problem is that Storage Media needs to be enabled hald in kde 3.5.7 to be able to mount CD's , floppies and so on.

Can be configured KDE 3.5.7 to use /etc/fstab instead of hald daemon ?
