Canon EOS D30 and thumbnails in konqueror.

This is my first post to the forum, so I would like to say hello to everybody.

The problem I am facing is frustrating me for few months, so now I decided to search for a help from you guys...
Is there a way to force konqueror to display thumbnails of raw photos from my Canon EOS D30? It would make my life a lot easier if I could see thumbnails...
I have tried GNOME, and it's Nautilus displays thumbnails as a breeze... I really want to stick to KDE, but I need to make my photographic life easier...

I use KDE 3.5.7 at the moment, distributed with the latest Mandriva 2008.

Please help.
