konqueror bookmark toolbar empty

Hi there:
for unknown reasons my bookmarks in a toolbar became invisible.

While the bookmarks are available from the menu, enabling the toolbar (via toolbar Menu / toolbars / bookmark toolbar) switches on an empty narrow toolbar. I tried rc files from another computer where Konqui works fine but with no success.

The question is: is the toolbar controled by any configuration file and which one ?

(I'm using Konqueror 3.5.7 release 60.1)

TIA

RE: konqueror bookmark toolbar empty

Try this:

1. Go to Bookmarks -> Edit Bookmarks
2. Right click on the main/parent bookmarks folder and select Set as Toolbar folder
3. Right-click on it again and select Show in Toolbar.

Hope that helps.

RE: konqueror bookmark toolbar empty

thanks Jucato - good idea - but does not help X(
I also tried this on other directories, and killed all konqueror processes to restart from scratch - still only the narrow empty bookmark toolbar.
By the way the toolbar's location can be set but the other settings for icons size, text or not have no effect even if they show up in
~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc
