Javascript on Desktop

I have an HTML page containing javascript (a timeline page http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/ ) and I would like to put it directly on my KDE Desktop.

Is there a way to do that, keeping the interactivity brought by javascript ?

Or is there another application/widget/plugin/thing (choose one) like timeline that can be easily integrated on KDE Desktop ?
