How do I remove KDE applications?

This is a pretty straight forward in gnome but in KDE I am having a harder time-

How can I remove all the KDE programs I will never use, like kPalm and most others. when I try to remove from APT I have to remove the whole KDE frontend.

How do you do this? Or deal with this issue?

if you use "synaptic" it's quite easy: (if you haven't then install it with "apt-get install synaptic")

Go to Sections > KDE-..., there you may choose the app that you want deleted with the right mouse button and then click to "apply" or something similar (I use it in german, therefore I don't know the exact term). And if synaptic tells you that it will remove kdebase then don't worry, 'cause kdebase is just a metapackage to choose all the good things KDE needs.
