Konqueror customisation

I'm using Konqueror for the first time as my default browser and I must say it's not too bad. However, one thing is bugging me. I have the bookmarks toolbar enabled with shortcuts to my most visited sites. I have both the site icon and a text abbreviation for each site e.g Boinc (for the boinc forums). For some reason that text is in bold and nothing I do will alter that. The text on all other toolbars and menus is normal text. I can't see anywhere in the fonts settings to change that. All that is there is the option to change the actual font and font size. No options for normal, bold, italics etc.

Aside from being a major visual distraction, the fact that the text is bold is making is larger and taking up more screen real estate. I'm not sure whether this is a Konqueror thing or a KDE thing. (I'm actually using xfce as my desktop environment, but KDE is obviously installed).

If someone can tell me how to fix this I'd appreciate it.
